We provide all the landscape services listed on the right and would be glad to visit with you about customizing your installation. A local nursery supplies us with top quality trees, shrubs, and plants for your rock garden or mulch bed. If you don't know how to landscape or simply don't have the time, please contact us.
This page contains some pictures and photographs of jobs we have completed. Feel free to use them for ideas for your projects. Remember, we will be adding more pictures as they become available so stop by often. Most of the pictures can be enlarged by clicking on them. Lawn Seeding
Spring seeding should be done between March 1 and May 15.
Fall seeding should be done between August 10 and September 30.
Spring seeding after May 15 has a lower chance of success because rain is less likely to occur and temperatures are getting warmer which dries and kills the young grass plants. If you are able to water the seeding twice per day, you can successfully seed after May 15. Also remember successful spring seeding WILL have a lot of weeds. This is OK, keep mowing at normal height and water if you can in the summer.
Don't dig out the weeds--you will do more harm than good. The first fall frost will kill all the weeds without harming your grass. At that time we strongly recommend applying a nitrogen fertilizer which will encourage the roots to grow and fill in the thin spots.
Fall seeding after September 30 does not allow enough time for the new grass to store food for winter and it will die before spring.
*If you are seeding and are on one of our lawn application programs, please contact us right away. The spring crabgrass pre-emergent herbicide will kill all grass seeds, especially bluegrass. The fall broadleaf herbicide also should not be applied to new seeding.
Please call us if you have questions or if you would like a seeding bid.
